This mural was a commission for a coffe lab in the historic district of Bogota named Café Jaguar. For the native Colombian culture the jaguar is a human in the astral world, he dances, speaks, lives in a family like us but in this dimension we can just see his body, his shadow in jaguar shape. The Jaguar is the symbol of the “other world”. For Café Jaguar, Chicadania painted a big wall with a jaguar in the middle of the amazon and she made a “trompe l’oeuil” in the corner of the street, she portrayed her son with a jaguar make up and a branch on his head of the coffe plant.
