This mural was a commission for a coffe lab in the historic district of Bogota named CafĂ© Jaguar. For the native Colombian culture the jaguar is a human in the astral world, he dances, speaks, lives in a family like us but in this dimension we can just see his body, his shadow in jaguar shape. The Jaguar is the symbol of the âother worldâ. For CafĂ© Jaguar, Chicadania painted a big wall with a jaguar in the middle of the amazon and she made a âtrompe lâoeuilâ in the corner of the street, she portrayed her son with a jaguar make up and a branch on his head of the coffe plant.
